When I first heard about the World Race, my heart stirred with both excitement and fear. The thought of leaving home, stepping into new cultures, and serving for 10 months felt overwhelming—but also deeply right. The question I’ve been asked the most is: why? Why step into something so big and unknown?
For me, the answer is simple: because God asked me to.
My walk with Jesus became real during a season of brokenness in middle school. In that darkness, I experienced His love in a personal way that changed everything. Since then, I’ve carried a desire to live fully surrendered to Him, even when it leads me into uncomfortable places.
When I was 16, I first sensed God calling me into missions. I didn’t know what it would look like, but I knew He was planting something in my heart. Over the years, He kept confirming that call, and earlier this year He made it clear: now is the time to step out in faith.
The World Race is more than a trip—it’s a chance to live out the Gospel. I’m going because I want to obey God’s voice, to love others the way Jesus loves, and to grow deeper in my faith. I believe this journey will not only shape me but also allow me to be part of what God is doing around the world.
So why am I going on the World Race? Because I believe God’s love changes everything—and He’s inviting me to share that love wherever He sends me.
I’m excited to use this space to share stories, reflections, and what God is teaching me as I prepare and go. Thank you for following along—I can’t wait to take you on this journey with me!
